Tracy Kern, Harrisburg FCCLA Advisor
Wednesday, December 11, 2019

Seven students from Harrisburg High School joined over 250 FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) student members on October 6 & 7, at the 2019 South Dakota FCCLA Fall Leadership Conference held at the Crossroads Convention Center in Huron. Students were motivated to follow this year’s theme, “Where YOUR Leadership Begins.”

The theme inspires members write the next chapter of their story while developing leadership skills. Members are challenged to reach new heights and are encouraged to lead others, develop new skills, explore career opportunities, build strong families, and make a difference in local communities.

Harrisburg FCCLA members who attended Leadership Training included Zoey Mager, Allison McMillan, Myriam Zamy, Ainsley Plack, Miriam Bart, Crista Wiersma and Kiana Sauer.
