As they read stories aloud, they not only brought the pages to life but also emphasized the importance of education, teamwork, and following your passions.

reading“It was a great experience having high school students visit our school to read to the elementary kids. The kids loved it,” said Mrs. Jen Sevold, librarian at Endeavor Elementary. “Two of the visitors I had were former students of ours so it was fun to catch up with them and to see how they have grown into such amazing young adults. I hope this can be an opportunity again in the future.”

The students at the elementary level were excited to meet their older peers and hear them read. Many gathered around in small groups, captivated by the athletes' enthusiasm and energy. “The best part was after we read stories, we made Valentine’s cards with them,” said Adventure kindergartener, Everly P.
