Our 4th graders had so much fun learning about the importance of the American Bison to the Native Americans. The Lakota used almost every part of the American Bison and learners were able to see firsthand how the tipi was built using parts of the animal. Thanks to Kevin from the Old Courthouse Musuem for coming to share all about the tipi and the American Bison.
