Two 5J students used the Habits of Mind in Makerspace today to create their own digital breakout EDU game! This game will be available for other learners to play and was a great opportunity for them to learn the behind the scenes engineering, critical thinking, and problem solving that goes into the Breakout EDU games that learners are able to solve in Makerspace! #BreakOutEDU

Learners in 5S planted our second round of seeds for our indoor garden yesterday. They proudly planted arugula, spicy salad, mustard, and radish microgreens. A new round of indoor gardens means new observations, new opportunities, and exciting new growth! We can't wait to learn how these sprouts will grow!

This week, we launched One Book, One School! Learners are reading the Wizard of Oz together. We launched the fun week with some special visitors and took a school-wide photo!



Journey Elementary will be hosting a Student Art Show on Wednesday, March 30th from 6 โ 8 PM. Each learner will have a piece of their visual artwork on display! We are looking for volunteers to help set up, run a cash register and take the Art show down.
