
This young lady was nominated for the #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay by Ms. Soukup for her putting forth her best effort and persisting during State Science testing this week.

Humphrey spent the afternoon with Mrs. Schoenefeld, our Reading Instructional Coach, in her happy place!

Ms. Soukup nominated this young man for the #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay for being amazing role model. He displays a high level of integrity in the classroom and strives for accuracy and excellence in all subjects.

Humphrey went to visit the teachers in CoHort B over the weekend! With Mrs. Stockman, he went to see Trains, with Mr. Altermatt, he played catch and with Mrs. Martin, Humphrey got to hang all weekend with her girls!





To honor everyone's uniqueness, students and staff are invited to wear brightly colored or mis-matched fun socks on Tuesday, March 30th.

Ms. Childs nominated this young lady for the #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay for always being ready to help out others in Art class. She is kind and patient; and takes responsibility seriously with the care of our art room and supplies by offering to clean up and sanitize.

Mr. S and Humphrey visited all the learners during lunch today! He was shy at first, but came out to talk about his book when all the kids followed Lunchroom expectations. They quizzed the learners about the book and Humphrey even got a few behind the ear scratches!




Our school is taking part in a special, shared reading event. Every student will receive a copy of the same book-The World According to Humphrey by Betty G. Birneyโand will be asked to read it together at home over the next few weeks. The goal is to read one chapter each day.


We've been reading Humphrey the Hamster at Journey! Last night, Humphrey had a fun sleepover with Roxy Haar, our head custodian who keeps Journey clean!


Mr. S. was thrilled to have Humphrey come for a visit last night! While he was there, Humphrey gave the kids some pretty good advice!
