Ms. Soukup's classroom spent part of Friday afternoon having a “funeral” for fixed mindset. They reflected and wrote all the things they “can’t” do. Afterwards, they put the word “can’t” to rest in their classroom and focused on the power of yet!

This young man is the first @ElemJourney #goodnewscalloftheday for the year. He did a fabulous job joining a new cohort of learners and went out of his way showering his teacher and classmates with kindness. He did a great job this first day sharing his smile with everyone.
