Float Line-Up Start: Arrive NO SOONER than 12:15 PM
When: Friday, September 13th, 1:30 PM
Start/Finish: Harrisburg High School
For Spectators & Community

Our homecoming parade is typically about two miles. The festivities will commence promptly at 1:30 PM, starting from the high school and proceeding eastward along Willow Street. Exact parade route details will be shared closer to the event date.
For the safety of all, please keep an eye on children and keep them away from the floats!

Road Closures
Please note certain roads will temporarily close at approximately 1:30 PM during the parade. If your plans involve travel in the vicinity during this time, we recommend making appropriate arrangements. Please consult the provided diagram for details regarding road closures and detour routes.
For Float Organizers, Riders & Parents
For those riding on a float or accompanying float riders, please consider the following:
We strongly encourage you to organize carpool arrangements at alternate locations, as parking availability at the high school is limited. South Middle School and the parking lots of Freedom and Liberty Elementary schools are designated carpool meeting locations.
For students not participating in a carpool, drop-off can be facilitated at the high school visitor or bus loop. Please be aware that parking is not available at these locations. If you intend to escort your child to their float, we recommend parking in an alternative location and walking to the assembly area.
Athlete parking is located in the north parking lot, while parking on the east side of the building is reserved for bussing.
Parking within the main high school parking lot, designated for float assembly, is not permitted. Instead, we suggest utilizing parking facilities at the Leap High lot, the road west of the tennis courts, or the road situated north of the school.

For Float Drivers & Walkers

Float drivers, please observe the following guidelines:
We must clear the parking lot prior to the parade. All floats and Parade entries should arrive NO SOONER than 12 PM NOON and no later than 1:15 PM.
Enter the lineup from the northwest corner of the lot and position your float snugly behind the one in front, maintaining a safe distance.
Throughout the parade, it is imperative that floats uphold a minimum 30-foot gap and refrain from stopping. All float walkers should maintain pace with their respective floats. The route is approximately two miles.
Passing Out Candy?
For the safety of children: All individuals passing out candy MUST WALK ALONGSIDE THE FLOAT TO KEEP CHILDREN AWAY FROM VEHICLES AND FLOATS.
