During National Educators Rising Week (February 2-6, 2026), the future teachers of Harrisburg are showing exactly what dedication and heart look like. These students bring curiosity, compassion, and a genuine desire to make a difference — the very qualities that light the way for strong classrooms and communities.
Harrisburg is fortunate to have young people who are already stepping into leadership, exploring the teaching profession, and dreaming of the classrooms they’ll one day lead. Their potential is powerful, and their impact will reach far beyond today.
The future of education is bright, and it’s growing right here in Harrisburg.

At tonight's board meeting, HHS’s eSports coaches provided an overview of the program and highlighted the team’s accomplishments. We currently have the second-largest eSports team in the state, with 16 players qualifying for the state competition. Beyond these impressive achievements, what truly sets eSports apart are the meaningful friendships and connections our students have built through their participation.

Founded in 1969, the Harrisburg FFA chapter has been building leaders, strengthening communities, and growing careers for over five decades. Our Agriculture Education program is more than just a class — it’s a pathway to leadership, career readiness, and lifelong success.
Through hands-on learning, Supervised Agricultural Experiences (SAEs), and competitive Career & Leadership Development Events (CDEs & LDEs), students gain real-world skills that prepare them for college, careers, and beyond.
During National CTE Month and National FFA Week, we celebrate the opportunities, leadership, and real-world experiences that empower our students to become confident, capable, and career-ready. Here’s to honoring our past since 1969 and continuing to grow the future
