This morning seven HHS seniors committed to the education profession in a signing ceremony in front of their teachers, parents, and college officials. Veteran teachers shared some words of wisdom and commended them for choosing such a challenging and rewarding profession. Harrisburg administrators reminded them that, as part of district policy, graduates of Harrisburg High School seeking a job in education are always guaranteed an interview in the district. The students will head to USD, USF, Augustana, and Southwest Minnesota State University in the fall. We are #TigerProud! 🐯🎓
HHS Culinary Arts/Prostart students teamed up with the media production class to create "The Tasty Tiger" cooking show segments to showcase their knowledge & skills. #CTE

Harrisburg juniors competed at the TSA TEAMS competition and took 1st place at the state level and qualified for the National competition. The competition is based on an essay submission, math problems and a design build competition! Great job!
Career & Technical Education students in Culinary Arts / Prostart have teamed up with the Media Production I class to learn the tips and trades of filming a cooking show segment.

Congrats to HHS junior Austyn Smithback for being selected to be a SANFORD Promise Summer Ambassador! Austyn will spend 10 weeks working and studying bone cancer in adolescents in Dr. Tao’s lab at SANFORD Research!
